Prioritize the contact action
A useful business card makes the name and preferred contact route easy to find. Start with the person or brand, role and the details people actually need. A long list of handles can compete with the main action. Use short labels and check spelling before adjusting colors.
The maker creates an 85 × 55 mm card layout. That is the tool’s editable output format, not a guarantee that every printer accepts it without bleed or trimming requirements. Ask the printing service for its specifications before ordering a batch.
Understand the QR payload
The optional QR contains a vCard contact record, rather than a tracking redirect. It includes the entered name and available contact fields. A scanner may offer to create a contact, but downloading a VCF or generating the code does not modify an address book automatically.
More contact text makes a denser QR. Keep details concise and scan the preview. If the QR becomes difficult to use at card size, reduce unnecessary fields or choose a simpler web-address code in a separate workflow. Do not remove the quiet-zone border to make the code appear larger.
Check digital details before the print
Enter the phone in a form a recipient can understand, including the country code when appropriate. Use the intended email and full website address. The sample details are demonstration data and should be replaced, not printed as if they were yours.
- Enter concise name, role and company details.
- Add only the contact fields you want to share.
- Choose the accent color and optional vCard QR.
- Generate and read the entire card at a realistic size.
- Download the VCF and inspect its fields in a trusted contact application.
- Scan a printed sample before ordering more copies.
Use the right master file
PNG gives a rendered pixel copy, SVG retains vector elements and text, and PDF preserves the tool’s intended physical card dimensions. A font can be substituted when an SVG is opened elsewhere. Inspect the exact file your printer receives and verify its print scale and margins.
Keep the editable contact data so later changes do not require reconstructing it from a QR image. A printed card cannot update a contact record already saved on someone’s phone. Avoid putting private information into a public card, and check the destination website on a phone. The generator creates files locally; it does not validate professional credentials, deliver emails or guarantee compatibility with every scanning application.
