Make the billing cycle explicit

A list of prices is difficult to compare when one service bills weekly and another bills annually. Enter the amount charged for one cycle and select that cycle. Use one currency for the entire list; choosing a currency label does not convert foreign charges. Include taxes or fees consistently with the amounts you want to model.

The tracker annualizes weekly charges using 52 cycles, fortnightly using 26, monthly using 12, quarterly using four and yearly using one. These are planning conventions, rather than an exact schedule of every future invoice. A calendar year can contain a different number of a particular billing weekday.

Work through a mixed-cycle example

Suppose one service costs NPR 499 monthly, a second costs NPR 2400 yearly and a third costs NPR 120 weekly. Their modeled annual costs are 5988, 2400 and 6240. The total is NPR 14,628 per year. Dividing by 12 gives an average of NPR 1219 per month.

That average does not mean your account will be charged NPR 1219 every month. The annual service can still take 2400 at once, and the weekly service can charge four or five times in a calendar month. Use the average for comparison and a cash-flow schedule for payment timing.

ChargeAnnual convention
499 monthly499 × 12 = 5988
2400 yearly2400
120 weekly120 × 52 = 6240
Combined average month14,628 ÷ 12 = 1219

Review the list against actual records

Use your statements or provider billing pages to check amounts and cycles. A free trial, introductory price or exchange-rate fee can make a remembered price inaccurate. Keep cancellation and renewal terms in a separate note if needed; this arithmetic tool does not contact providers or cancel anything.

  1. Name each service without including account credentials.
  2. Enter one-cycle price and the matching cycle.
  3. Update totals and compare annual equivalents.
  4. Check actual renewal dates outside the average-cost model.
  5. Export the list before making changes.

Use the result as a comparison, not an automatic recommendation

The lowest average cost is not necessarily the best choice. Consider whether you use the service, whether a yearly commitment is refundable and whether the actual payment date fits your circumstances. The tracker does not assess a provider or recommend a financial decision.

Optional local saving stays in this browser and is not connected to a bank or subscription account. Clear it on a shared device or export a backup when appropriate. After canceling a service through its official process, confirm the cancellation and subsequent statement yourself. Removing a row from the tracker changes only the local list.
